PwC strengthens team in Croatia with three new partners

At the beginning of October, PwC Croatia has admitted three new partners - Hrvoje Zgombic, Hrvoje Jelic and Sinisa Dusic.
"These new partners have proven track records of delivering excellent service to strong client networks. Their contribution will help strengthen PwC position in the Croatian market and will help us soon become the number one professional services firm in Croatia" said Vasile Iuga, PwC South East Europe Managing Partner.
Hrvoje Zgombic is joining as Country Managing Partner, succeeding Francois Mattelaer. Hrvoje Zgombic was the Senior Partner and President of the Board of Zgombic & Partners Ltd., which he founded in March 2003. He is a certified auditor, licensed tax advisor and Court expert. He is also the Chairman of the Croatian IFA branch - International Fiscal Association. Hrvoje previously worked for another Big Four firm in Croatia as a Partner for Audit and later as a Partner for Tax.
Hrvoje Jelic and Sinisa Dusic - also former members of the Zgombic & Partners Ltd. team - are joining PwC as a Tax and Legal Services and Audit partner respectively.
Hrvoje Jelic is a legal expert with expertise in tax issues including personal income tax, value added tax and real estate tax. He also specializes in tax planning, avoidance of double taxation, and tax administration procedures – helping clients prepare for appeals and Administrative Court cases. Hrvoje previously worked for other Big Four firms. He is currently preparing his Ph.D. in financial law at the University of Zagreb Law School.
Sinisa Dusic is a certified auditor and certified internal auditor for banks, and specializes in audit, due diligence and valuations. He spent 18 months working in the USA, where he qualified as a US CPA. Sinisa has advised companies in several sectors including financial services, manufacturing and energy. He also worked for other Big Four firms.

PwC has been present in Croatia since 1997 and provides assurance, tax and advisory services to a large number of multinational and local companies. The practice has grown to 5 partners and more than 130 professionals.
